The Windows Security Center is the heart of your online protection, so it can be worrying if it can’t start.
Check if the Windows Security Service is running in the Services?
Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog. Type services.msc in the text box and press Enter
In the Services window, scroll down to locate Security Center. Right-click on it and select Restart.
